Frozen

A most enjoyable New Year's Day walk with J on the Westside.

The ground was frozen hard so no worries about mud and it was possible to avoid slippery parts of the track by walking on the grass and heather.

I took rather too many photos of frozen puddles... but they are fascinating. I have added one more as an extra, plus a shot of part of a dramatic long line of icicles formed along the edge of an old peat bank.
