Birthday Pics

Every year when my son Eric has a birthday I always find a picture of him from the past (which I have plenty of) and send one to him with a happy birthday message telling him how much I love him and how proud I am of his accomplishments. His birthday is January 14 and tonight while going through some pictures, I ran across an old pair of glasses saved in a Ziplock baggie that he wore in grade school. There is something about a picture that reminds me of a time, but there is something about an item that reminds me more about that person. These glasses definitely took a beating and had the marks to prove it and I'm glad I took the time to save the memory. Happy 28th birthday Eric :)
