You're Taking Snuffy Where?
Me: To the hospital in Seattle.
Lizzie: Excuse me?
Me: Well, he's sick and he has to see the doctor.
Lizzie: In Seattle?
Me: That's where the doctor is. It's not really that far.
Lizzie: Tell the doctor to come here.
Me: Doctors don't make house calls anymore.
Lizzie: Excuse me? It's Snuffy!
Me: I understand how you feel. He'll be fine. Don't worry.
Lizzie: Don't worry??!! It's Snuffy!
Me: They'll take good care of him.
Lizzie: How do you know?
Me: Trust me. He'll be fine.
Lizzie: What are they going to do to him?
Me: Well, they're going to inject him with a ratioactive isotope to slow down his thyroid so he doesn't develop heart problems and high blood pressure which might cause him to go blind from a detached retina.
Lizzie: Get my carrier ready. I want to talk to this doctor.
