The end of the season

Yesterday was a shocking day.  It did not just rain, it poured all day.  I had hoped to go down to the Southbank to the twelfth night festivities but abandoned that idea, l only went out to get some milk which uis when l took this photo.
Extra shows M and grandson H collecting tree from under window and taking to collection point.
There are signs dotted about telling us where to leave our Christmas tree; it seems a sad end however they will be composted hopefully.
