Can be cruel! We are having a stove fitted in the fireplace in the entrance hall and the chimney sweep came just before Christmas to give it a good clean. Sadly he found a number of deceased birds which had clearly fallen down the chimney some years before.

This morning the builder came to prepare the fireplace for the installation on Thursday and when he pulled out the iron fire, this little bird dropped out. I decided to take a pic after the previous taxidermy blips. This is altogether more gross. Sorry about that!
