May Challenge - Dark
Day 12 of DDW's May daily challenge - Dark
Had to wait until late to do this one to get some dark (although there are other interpretations of dark available).
As it gets dark so our (human) vision tends towards a monochrome image - the colour sensors in the eye are less sensitive to light. This means that colours that are present in low light can seem much richer from our cameras than we saw with our eyes. It is the camera that has got it right, not our eyes.
So here you have the tree in my garden and an apparently nice blue sky, which I didn't see, it was much duller when I saw him.
A bit of backblipping going on here - this is Saturday's blip.
