Mono Monday 468 :: MM468 :: 'Nine'

The church of St Mary's sits in a hollow about 1/2 mile from Over Silton on the edge of the North York Moors. 

There is no fixed date to the church but it is estimated the oldest parts go back NINE hundred years. That is a lot of Mono Mondays ago! 

The nearest road is over 500 feet away, there isn't a parking spot nearby nor even a gravel path to it, just tracks across grazing fields. 

It is however still in use but if the service is during the hours of darkness bring a candle, there isn't any electricity to the building either...
