A day off work.

The Ted Chiang 'short' story I was reading in the morning took so much of my concentration and time that when I'd eventually finished it I just had enough of an interval to nip down to Holyrood on the bike for some laps of Queens Drive/Dunsapie Loch before making the 13.40 screening of Till at the local multiplex. 

And then some printing tonight, much better versions of summat I made a mess of yesterday. Soundtracked by an all-time favourite album and with the last beer out of the Christmas beer box for  afters - a watermelon IPA no less. Never had one before, not unpleasant but certainly an acquired taste. It may well be a while before I have another...
