Lichen

We have had wind gusts that snapped off branches from our birch trees; I found this branch with lichen attached and quickly took a photo. It works for Mono Monday, but it may not fit the theme of "9"...

I feel better and then I feel really sick again...the worst part of this situation is that I don't want Ellie to come over and catch what I have, but she says she is coming over tomorrow anyway. "GG, I will come to help you. I will help you with the laundry."  Where does she come up with these ideas?
