Wings

This meditation on the body as vehicle was inspired by Carrie Levy’s anti-portraits (see extra) which I saw in Face by William A. Ewing. Thanks to POD2008 for suggesting it. 

I have been thinking about the Body. About death. About friends’ departures. 

Naomi Replansky, who featured recently in one of my Margie blips, died January 7, 2023. She was 104. The little six-minute documentary about Replansky, that I had to get permission to show Margie a few weeks ago, is now available for all to enjoy, no paywall, no ads. I highly recommend it. What a woman! What a poet. What an example of an old woman full of fire and imagination. Her work is done now.
