Stephen’s Day tradition bonus

It’s a long-established tradition that I go to my friends Derek and Rita for lunch on Stephen’s Day. This year was even more special than usual when we were joined virtually from the UK by our mutual friends Simon and Bernie. We were enjoying the usual lovely lunch when they popped up on the computer. A long, long chat ensued, with lots of reminiscence about old times — a perfect Christmas moment, in fact.

EDIT : We’ll what d’ya know — turns out this is a Blip milestone. 2555. It’s taken a long time to reach the magic number. I think I only managed four years uninterrupted, after which things have been spasmodic. Still, a milestone is a milestone (I wonder if there’s a metric equivalent for that?).
