An unusual view….

of Redcastle from the burnside beneath the back. They are reinforcing the walls and making it safe, so it was good to get this sight, which will be sealed off soon.
There has been a castle at this location since the twelfth century . It has had a chequered existence, bought, sold, fallen down, been restored many times throughout the years.
It is a very mild corner of the Black Isle here and it was lovely to find Snowdrops poking through the fallen leaves!
