In spate

Or perhaps only in flood: the river Frome as it passes through Frampton was high when I returned from Dorchester this morning.  It was blowing hard and pouring with rain for some of the morning and all of the afternoon today.  I'm confident that the reservoirs are full again.

I had been to a damage repair garage that had not completed the job on the electric car, returning it to an as-new state after our shunt in October – the door skin was standing proud of the surrounding bodywork.  Their excuse was that the old tabs on the door skin had broken; I would rather they had waited for the new tabs to save my having to return for a second visit to the place, but such is life.
