That's Handy

It's been a dull, damp day.  We went out after lunch to check on the river levels (still high, see extras) and find caffeine refreshment at Goodroots Cafe.  On return home we popped to a neighbour's house for a teatime chat, with nibbles.  We are lucky to have some very nice people living close by.

The ginger reminiscent of a gnarled hand and fingers was used this morning in the curry I was making.  Thanks to pinkhairedlady for hosting today's Tiny Tuesday.
