The Sound of Silence

Loving this book (lent by a friend). I’d hoped to read more of it this afternoon but sadly household chores and admin got in the way.
Awful weather today. It didn’t seem to get properly light all day. Mr P and I spent the morning in the Hydro. Much quieter than it has been recently despite the primary school kids being off.
I went to my first proper Quaker service this evening. An hour of silence (tricky for me) folllowed by soup, bread and cheese. Enjoyed it, even the silence.
