Simplify

My current mission is to simplify my paintings. These are my first attempts. Details are out; flat washes are in.

I once saw a lovely cartoon of a person earnestly studying a thick book on “Simplicity Made Easy”.

Also enjoyed a quote along the lines of, “I was going to write you a short note but, not having time to edit it, will have to send a long one.”
