Miserably damp weather, ...

... this morning, encouraged the birds to dig around for food. 

Despite seeing several worms being devoured, by blackbirds in particular, I didn't manage a single worthwhile shot of the rapid action.

However, I did manage this couple of shots, taken as they paused between mouthfuls.
