Portobello Road is forever changing and shifting, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly.

A new addition to the north of Golborne Road landscape is Unite and Type.

Attracted to the ceramics in the window, I found inside a couple of old presses together with drawers of old wooden type and some fresh proofs hanging seductively from an overhead rack.

Talking to an enthusiastic proprietor called Gloria I discovered they do small workshops in letterpress printing on a few days a month. A nice introduction to old craft skills in north west London.
