Old Kilmadock

We successfully retrieved the parcel from the minimally open sorting office in Dunblane. It turned out ad been sent by son number 2 who had used thier old temporary address. Anyway a nice surprise for Liv when she gets back.
In torrential rain we set out to find Old kilmadock, an ancient church and burial ground on the banks of the Teith just outside Doune. The sun came out a couple of times in between the downpours and my waterproofs held up. A brilliant kingfisher sighting, I watched him dive to fish several times.
We are back in Glasgow now ready for an early morning trip taking E to the Gartnavel for a routine procedure, I’d forgotten about the dog sitting when he’d asked. It’s quite nice to have an excuse to be back home, and Islay is happily snoozing on my sofa, which used to be theirs.
