GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Great excitement as I poured over the manual and tried to get to know my new camera. Larger and heavier than my little "mik en druk" (point and press) I kept clutching it in the wrong places terrified that I would drop the thing and yes it took quite a while to work out how to put the strap on and connect the lense cap. Kept wondering why it was not working when in fact I had not taken the lense cap off being used to my smaller simpler camera.
Its great fun and I am going to enjoy every moment.
I am just pointing and clicking at this stage but hope to get onto the
manual settings soon.
