Morning has broken

Lovely sunny morning.  Sunshine and breeze on our morning walk. 

Wednesday shopping morning.  Market quiet, on one stall the ladies who run it are on a Caribbean cruise.  

Treated myself to some irises.  I often justify an unnecessary purchase as 'Mum would have wanted me to have them'. 

Passed some terrible potholes on the way.  They had been reported to the council in December.  Too many heavy vehicles on this short stretch of road.  

Heavy rain commenced just as we got indoors from our second dogwalk.

Now going to watch episode 2, series 2 of Happy Valley.
