Sitting Duck

......... the sun shone this morning just for a change so I decided to take a trip to the lake. I haven’t been there for such a long time because it became unbearably busy during lockdown and that continued afterwards, and I think I just got out of the habit of going.
Fortunately it wasn’t too busy today, so I felt quite comfortable but it was extremely cold ( I forgot that the wind whips over the lake really strongly ) and I stupidly forgot to take my gloves, so my hands were freezing but it was still an enjoyable walk.
Just a few of the usual birds on the lake but after so long it felt like a bit of a novelty to see them so you have a few extras ;-)
