Trained

Work wasn't the significant event today but I did find myself enjoying a couple of conversations with young folk today. Time well spent - for a change. 

The main event was our appointment with the nurse to learn how to manage Bailey's diabetes. The nurse was lovely and very thorough, answering almost all of my questions and showing me exactly how to inject Bailey. It'll be several weeks before we get everything sorted and settled but I am hoping that he will get into a better pattern with his eating so that we can follow the routine we need to. Home and he did eat his tea, although not straight away and I managed to do his first injection without any fuss. Long may that continue!
