Foot sore

First stop today was Sacre Coeur - probably my favourite place in Paris. The sky stayed a definite grey but it was still beautiful Then wandered around Mon Martre but that is now so touristy it seems to have lost so much of its charm. New grounds then - walked to the Cemetiere Monmartre - a huge place with many graves dating back to the 1700's - so tranquil. Wandered along to check out the Moulin rouge for JP later this week. Then down to Les Halles - soo many shops, next to the Centre Pompidou. Chilled there for a while, taking in the views and people watched! Then strolled along the banks of the Seine, through the Louvre, through the Tuilleries gardens and up the Champs Elysees - yet more shops :). Quick stop at the Arc de Triomphe then walked back to the hotel. Walked more today than I have in months - think I must be getting a bit more fit !
