Heading up …

….. ….. ….. New Chums Gully Track, after we’d walked up Tobin’s Track ; just for fun. It was a much cooler morning, so much so that my hands hadn’t really warmed up by the time we reached the top of Tobins. There are a couple of bench seats up there and it’s amazing how complete strangers end up chatting away, sitting there enjoying the view.

I decided that I’d like to look at the top of New Chums Gully Track, which branches off Tobins. I hadn’t realised that it’d take 30 minutes to get there but it was worth it. We gained wonderful views over Lake Hayes, as that view is further north along the ridge.

It was back to summer again today, after our chilly damp day yesterday.
