Never give up

As some of you know my wife was in a mega bike accident 2.5 years ago that she was lucky to survive.

Not much holds her back and a few months later she was back riding albeit managing discomfort.

Yesterday she successfully had the metal work removed from her back…. Phew!!

I was downstairs in the hospital cafe for 12 hours reading a book about a pioneering British cyclist called Tom Simpson who had an incredible can do attitude too… in fact it contributed to an untimely early death but that is another story.

After finishing the book I had the idea to kill time to photo app / edit the cover pic of Tom leading a race.

I belong to Tom’s appreciation group who thought it very good adapted pic… and in particular his daughter who runs the group… she loved the inspiration her father still brings…super nice lady and I’m doing an interview with her soon.
