First Battle of Narvik 10/04/40

This cover was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the battle. It shows the badges of five Royal Navy ships HMS Hardy Hotspur Hostile Havoc and Hunter a flotilla which engaged six German ships at Narvik sinking disabling and setting on fire five of them. The cover is signed by the son of the flotilla commander Captain B.A. Warburton-Lee. His father was killed in the action and received the V.C. for his bravery.
