The Botanic Cottage

Visit for a coffee in the Botanics this morning.  Stopped off to look at the Botanic Cottage, a building with a long and interesting history.   Originally it was the home of the botanics head gardener at a previous location of the Botanics just off Leith Walk.   Threatened with demolition the building was moved stone by stone to its present location at Inverleith where it functions as a social and educational space.
