...with lights on, which is less a rule now than it has been most winters. Saving on electricity wherever we can. We managed to cut consumption in December by almost 49% compared to the previous December. It was a little warmer, but that's just a small part of the saving.

Roads and yards have turned icy and very slippery. I spread gravel to our yards and about 4.5 kilometres of roads. The same kind of weather continues, so there might be more of the same job tomorrow. In between I managed to drive off to run some errands and visit the camera club studio to make sure that a new user gets things working.
