Black Headed Gull

There were quite a few gulls by the side of Lake Geneva this afternoon. I stopped briefly on the way to take my son to a hospital appointment.

He has to have an operation on his knee. We saw the specialist today, who made the decision, and the operation will be on Monday. I am delighted at how quickly everything is going ahead and but also conscious of how it would’ve been a very different scenario if we were in the UK.
