Shopping today for my eldest sister, during the time I’ve been off blip she has lost the majority of her sight, very suddenly overnight due to glaucoma, she had only ever needed glasses for reading really small print, had managed with non- prescription glasses and had not seen an optician for a long time if she had things might’ve been different. She has approximately 20%vision through one eye 0 through the other.
Being fiercely independent she manages herself on a daily basis but cannot leave the house un aided, so I take her shopping every week she can usually find the products that she wants, providing the store hasn’t moved them or the packaging hasn’t changed.
She wasn’t feeling up to going today so I was left with a shopping list.
While I was there I picked up the caterpillar cake ready for an early birthday tea on Sunday for Martin.
