The fountain in the Park.

The McPherson fountain was designed and erected in 1882 and is located in Zetland Park. It’s recently been refurbished as part of the lengthy regeneration of the Park,
(my journal on 14 September 2022 says a lot about the Park project). I believe it was in storage at the University of St Andrews before restoration.

The fountain is good example of a cast iron drinking fountain, it’s now quite a rarity actually. It’s well documented;
