Catch up

Up early to catch the 8.15am train to Glasgow, chatting to DH on the way. Worked our way through the nitty gritty detail of all the governance stuff and got the proposals that needed agreed done. Afterwards I headed down to look at Cos (will be very pleased when the new branch opens in Edinburgh!) but didn’t get anything, then back for lunch and agenda setting with VickyG.
Walked from there to Kelvingrove gallery and met up with R for first time in months. We sat and chatted over tea and cake for ages then headed down to see a very good exhibition of prints from the Glasgow Print Studio….lots on display so plenty to see and chat about. Nice to see a couple of Alison Watt prints and good to hear the story behind a number of other artists that R knew.
Dropped me back in town and more chat on the way…planning other meet-ups soon.
Just missed one train home but they’re back to 4 an hour now so not long to wait for the next one. Had thought I’d do lots of reading prep in the evening but instead binge watched the last series of Strike….probably the best one and kept me guessing til the end.
Twitter has changed again, copying TikTok’s format of ‘for you’ and ‘following’ lists that is maddening. I’ve been getting less and less interested in what’s appearing and (no bad thing) suspect I’ll soon just give up on it.
