Duck!

Went to the duck pond I frequented as a toddler today. Meant to go with mum but when she got there it was a bit cold and rainy so she stayed in the car. There was a tear in my eye when I saw a little girl and her dad feeding the ducks just as I used to.
Of course the pond is actually quite small. In my memories it is HUGE and filled with black swans and mandarin ducks. In reality now there are a few mallards and a shed load of pigeons.
My 50p loaf from LIDL went down well although the pigeons were flocking to wherever there was bread they weren't as aggressive as seagulls can be and the ducks did not go hungry.
Off to Canterbury tomorrow . Hope the weather improves.
