Let the dog see the rabbit

In my childhood memory, cuddly friends were only hung by the ears on the line when I'd been sick on them at some point in the night. Hence my 5am alarm call...which sounded a lot like "Dad! Dad!" But only audible to Mummy Dog ears.


I loved the soapy, windy way my teds smelled after a bath. If he's sick on his new musical Bagpuss, though, he will have to choose between silence and stink.
