Long Tailed Tit

What a delight to waken up to a not only dry but also sunny morning. I thought I was going to miss the sunshine because I was scheduled for a day's work. It became clear early in the proceedings that one of my colleagues for today wasn't well. I felt terribly sorry for her but mightily relieved that we were in a virtual meeting. No-one wants norovirus if they can help it. We've rearranged for a different day.

This left me free to go for a walk. I set out to look at more of the lanes and took some photographs. They can wait for another day though. On my way home I saw a gang of long tailed tits. They are such charming birds though very flighty. I just managed one reasonable snap.
