Local Produce

The farmer that has the poly tunnels opposite our house sells veg from the farm on Friday afternoons. We popped there today and found that they have started offering a selection basket each week for €25.  It is seasonal, and changes each week depending on the whim of the young lady who runs the shop. In case you can’t see this week’s varieties, there are:
Leeks, potatoes, beetroot, fennel, radishes, mushrooms, carrots, Brussel sprouts, chicory (endives), sweet potato, and apples, plus a bunch of parsley.
We have now placed a weekly order and will be looking forward to what appears next week!
