Friday Flypast

Another sighting of the C130 Hercules overhead this morning as it landed and then took off from Southend Airport! It normally flies off over the Thames Estuary but today went over the house so that was a lovely thing to see. Had fun playing around with the photo effects on the computer too and liked the way this one turned out.

A very windy day today but sunny!  Had to go to the jewellers to pick up my fixed necklace which is looking sparklier than ever - note to self, buy some jewellery cleaning items!! And then I went for a blustery walk along the creek to blow the cobwebs away and saw yet more Teals, Egrets and a couple of chaffinches too!

Managed a bit more tidying up in the garden this afternoon too before a forecast wet weekend! Nice to see the hellebores and snowdrops beginning to bloom!
