The Britons Protection

To Manchester again, this time to see the film Empire of Light, which has a fabulous performance by Olivia Colman and wonderful cinematography. Afterwards, we went for a quick pint in the Britons Protection, a famous old pub with paintings illustrating the Peterloo Massacre of 1819.

NB the pub name resolutely refuses to contain an apostrophe.
