Overflowing waterbutt

So much rain all week...

Despite emptying a few watering cans from the waterbutt (into the greenhouse beds, compost heap or pond) every time I'm on the plot, I haven't managed to prevent it from overflowing! The whole area around the greenhouse was so boggy...

It feels wrong to have to throw 10 watering cans into the pond in mid January... That's wet winters and global warming for you.
