Goodbye!

Yesterday, in a conference call, I and my six fellow drivers, learned that the company have decided not to have another audit, but to close the lab completely. This means another twenty plus redundancies on top of the 18 before Xmas! We had a Teams meeting this afternoon as a follow up, and in short, the company are looking for five drivers to redeploy to their Livingston hub. They are looking for four full timers, to do Monday to Friday, and one part timer to do Saturday and Sunday. I have a Wednesday to Friday contract, so I’m really not sure what will happen.


The blip is Gingey, from next door, waving goodbye to me first thing this morning when I left for work.
