Roadworks

The council are finally adopting the streets on our estate which has prompted a flurry of remedial work being done.
The drains have been cleared, lampposts checked and resurfacing of pathways and roads are underway in preparation for the handover.

Our house is nearly 11 years old so it’s been a long while. There are still new homes being built.
At last, we will know who to contact when the drains block or the street lighting needs fixing.
I’m hoping the council will take responsibility for the grass verges too. Residents have ended up doing their bit so it will be great to not have to cut grass which isn’t ours.

Well, I’m hoping that’s the case….
