Going underground
I've been working at home this week chairing an appointments panel by video link but today, because it was a different role we were interviewing for, it switched to in-person mode. So, it was up to London and it was good to be sitting with the other panel members with candidates across the table rather than on a computer screen. I'd heard that London was a lot quieter on a Friday these days with many people now more able to work from home and there were certainly a lot more seats available on the train up to town and on the tube than I was used to. So, here is a picture of the iconic London Underground signage outside St James's Park tube station and, as, it was a crisp, dry winter's evening I walked back to Waterloo via Parliament Square with Big Ben now fully visible again after completion of rhe renovation works and removal of the scaffolding.
