Friday coffee at Finkins

We can't sit inside Finkins with Basil. Basils not allowed. But we do like to take our coffee and cake outside after buying at the Friday market.  The staff are very friendly and helpful and the coffee's not too bad. Len is enjoying a Rocky Road here. I had a slice of carrot cake.

Indifferent sort of weather today. No rain but cloudy and a strong wind.

It took me one and a half hours to put my gluten free/dairy free pound cake together but it came out well. Such a relief as it's my contribution to the tea table at the Come and Sing tomorrow. Gill has confirmed that she and Geoffrey will be coming which means I shall have someone to talk to in the intervals.
