Marooned

You see that spring on the rubbish bin top?  That should be holding up our garage door.  I drove in - closed the door as usual - there was an almighty bang, and there was the spring, sheered off, and lying on the floor.

Sadly it's Saturday morning, and the garage door mending people are closed for the weekend.

We can't open the door with only one spring (we tried) and the other side hasn't opened for many years.

So we're stuck!  I just hope the garage door mending people have an emergency service and can come early Monday  morning.  Even if they don't have a spare spring lying around they may have a way to open the door for us.
