I had to pop into town this morning so it was convenient for me to pick up a couple of new flowers, not just for blipping but for a course on Tuesday.

We then went to finish tidying and cleaning the lodge, only to find that the Economy 7 storage heater had failed again AND, earlier today we'd got a booking for next weekend.

This time it wasn't just the trip switch but switches don't trip without reason. I was soon on the phone to our electrician who can come with a suitable replacement this week. We would have had no worries buying a new, modern storage heater but we are told that this form of heating is being phased out so we'll accept a slightly used replacement for now.
