Keeper of the Loch

We deliberated our swim from before 8am this morning , with the main topic of concern being the weather!!
Wish we were more afraid of swans as after deciding to give it a go, being given right of passage by swan, lets just say the water was *#$*#¥?* FREEZING!!!!
We swam across the way from one end of buoys to another, but the last marker seemed really far away from the white tub that floats close to the shore.
C suddenly spotted the almost fully submerged just ahead of us, I wasn't convinced and reckoned was a dead fish. Needless to say I lost my bet quickly and we all got more of a fright when L dragged up to the surface the other buoy from well under the water to rejoin its partner !!
Now spooked we cautiously swam out to the white tub. With our numb fingers and toes crossed, hoping not to bump into any more under water buoys!!
A very cold 30min swim and it was pretty much a race from the last buoy back to the jetty and out!!
