Fairhaven

Drove to Fiona's and we both wanted to go to the sea even though we knew it would be blowing a gale. We had a lovely lunch in the garden centre then I drove to fairhaven. There weren't too many places to park as there were huge puddles in the kerb. We walked round the lake and I was afraid Fiona would be blown in. It was cold and hard walking but it was so nice to be out especially when the sun came out. We stopped at the cafe for a hot drink and we shared an egg custard.
I drove along the prom through Blackpool to Bispham as I wanted to go to the cemetery. I stopped and took a couple of photos of the rough sea which you can never see at Lytham or Fairhaven. see extra
