Its getting hot in here

OK, I'm now going to great lengths to avoid dressing up and doing a self portrait for WhiskyFoxtrot :-)

This idea looked so much better in my head. My Photoshop skills have clearly not yet caught up with my imagination.

It's Matthew's birthday tomorrow and his girlfriend is going out to visit him for a few days which will be nice for them both. Anna has worked in France with Matthew for the last few years, but this year she took a UK based job so they have been apart most of the time. I do feel for them. Not just because of this recent seperation, but also because it seems so hard for young people to establish themselves in the way we did. I'm pretty sure they would both like to settle down and maybe one day start a family but their work is always based on a temporary contract, the money is pants and they never stay in one place for very long.

Perhaps I should buy a lottery ticket every week in the hope that i win some money and can help them out. Ditto for Luke in China who earns enough to live on but that's about it. Not sure what his future holds.
