Support Team

Thomas was playing for Sheffield 2nd XV v York 2nd XV at Clifton Park York. Split loyalties as I played hockey here for York Women and Richard played rugby for York. However today family loyalty won out as we were there to support Tom and his team mates.

A good standard of rugby and Sheffield had to withstand a lot of pressure in the first 20 minutes. However their persistence paid off and they scored some good tries. The main is Tom in full flight encouraged by a team mate. He also scored his first try for Sheffield by running a support line from his position on the wing. Good to be there to see him dot down under the post. See the extra. The light was not good in the second half and the flood lights were not strong enough to make a difference. After a good arm wrestle Sheffield ran out winners. 

After our goodbyes made a dash for the car and with the heater on full blast we headed for home.
